GoNetworking Duxford - 25th April

30/03/2017

GoNetworking Duxford is taking place on 25th April at The Officers' Mess Business Centre, with a presentation by Janice Steed of Steed Consulting on Distributed Leadership and Emotional Intelligence.

Mantle Business Centres is very pleased to host GoNetworking Duxford at The Officers' Mess Business centre on 25th April 2017. We have invited Janice Steed, Director of Steed consulting, to give a talk focusing on enabling mechanisms for companies at transition points of growth or change, to use distributed leadership and emotional intelligence to build relationships and use the collective potential.

Steed Consulting supports organisational change and improvement, particularly growing companies, to find an effective way of operating, without losing their entrepreneurial culture. Owner/director Janice Steed, an experienced board director with a masters’ degree in organisational change and a qualified executive coach, provides:

  • Leadership development
  • Coaching & facilitation
  • Strategic development & consultancy

Adding value to your business by improving:

  • Confidence, initiative & leadership capability
  • Strategic focus and alignment
  • Customer & internal relationships
  • Performance, flexibility, and agility

Janice’s experience as a senior leader of complex NHS organisations, an organisation consultant, facilitator, and executive coach, with a master’s degree in organisational change and post graduate in executive coaching, both from Ashridge Business School, provide the perfect foundation for her work with growing businesses. She works with leaders to help them develop and clarify their strategic direction, engage, and enable their senior teams to align and realise that strategy; creating shared purpose, capability, and sustainability.

Janice specialises in working with organisations and individuals who need to make a change, either because they are growing and can no longer operate as they have been or perhaps have a high degree of subject expertise, but who may be struggling with the changes they need to make to be a successful company, letting go and enabling others to take on more responsibility and decision making, capitalising on collective potential. Janice works alongside and get underneath what they really want to achieve, and, help them successfully navigate the change they need to make.

For clients of Mantle Business Centres, the event is free of charge, though we do ask that you book in advance. All other visitors pay just £15 per head which includes breakfast. Click here to book.

Please bring plenty of business cards.

Here's what some of our networkers had to say about our events:

“I wanted to drop you a line to say that the GoNetworking events at both Stansted and Duxford are one of the best run groups that I attend. The venue is professional and there is a good balance between networking time and the speakers. I like the focus that the speakers give to topics that are relevant to business people's work lives, and I always come away from the meeting with at least one “nugget” that I can apply to my company. The coffee is hot and strong as well!” Mark, Optrys

“The Mantle Business Networking Events are extremely worthwhile. There is always a good turnout of delegates and a good mix of businesses in attendance. The Networking is enjoyable, as it should be, and some key connections made. The guest speaker/sponsor is always good content. I have no hesitation in bringing my contacts to the Mantle Networking." Karis Parker, Sales & Events Manager, Great Hallingbury Manor
